Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT)
The Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) is a modular, cost-effective qualification from Cambridge that assesses essential English language teaching knowledge. Globally recognized and suited for both aspiring and experienced educators, it validates professional expertise and enhances teaching confidence without a practical classroom assessment.
Candidates receive an individual Cambridge certificate for each completed module, which may be taken in any quantity and over any time frame.
The TKT is designed for primary, secondary, and adult educators—including both aspiring and experienced teachers—who wish to formally validate their expertise with a globally recognized credential. It is recommended for candidates with a minimum English proficiency level of B1 or above.
