What is your admission procedure?

You can get admission free on our website Englishology.net using your computer or mobile phone. You will have to give your basic information and take a level test. After the test we will email you with your level and instructions on how to register for courses online.

 

How long are your courses?

All our courses are one-month long and have 16 class hours and 8 self-study hours.

Any one IELTS module is finished in that one month. Sign up for multiple modules in the same month to accelerate your preparation or take one module at a time to develop more slowly but surely.

General English courses have different content every month so that you can register month after month until you have reached your desired level of English.

Lessons are two-hour long and twice a week.

 

What is your course structure?

Our IELTS courses are modular. Each module has 8 lessons, a mock test and provides complete preparation for one paper of the exam.

General English courses are one year long but you register for individual months and for as many months as you need to reach your desired level.

Professional Skills courses include one-month modules on specific communicative functions (e.g. emails, presentations etc.) and a regular monthly English for Work programme.

Do you have any discounts?

While we do not provide any discounts, we do not charge anything for the additional services we provide that include assessing your current level of English, end of course progress reports, mock tests, trial classes etc.

 

Can I try out a lesson before paying?

Yes, we run some trial lessons before every term. The next trial lessons are on 6 and 7 November, please register on the site and finish your level test to get a place in the trial lesson appropriate for your level. Places are limited and given on a first come first serve basis.

  

How do you receive payment?

All payment is received before the course starts and transactions are done online using the secure payment gateway of SSLCOMMERZ (https://www.sslcommerz.com) and you can use any mobile payment service (e.g. bKash, Nagad, Rocket etc) and credit/debit cards from any bank. We do not accept any cash.

 

Do you have any online classes?

Yes Our online classes are delivered using the most advanced and premium technology used by world renowned organisations. We limit the number of participants per class to 12 in order to make sure all participants get sufficient attention from the teacher.

  

Who are your teachers?

Our teachers are all vastly experienced specialists who have achieved professional qualifications from the University of Cambridge, UK and have extensive experience of teaching at the British Council and other renowned organisations.

  

What course materials do you use?

All our course materials have been developed by UK professionals and are also used by other UK organisations. Printed worksheets are couriered to you so that you can conveniently read on paper while interacting with the teacher and other participants on screen.

  

Do you teach IELTS preparation courses?

Yes we do. Our courses take a unique modular approach aimed at providing comprehensive preparation and practice in a skill area of the IELTS that you need help with. All modules have a balance of grammar/vocabulary review, skills development, communication and exam techniques.

  

Do you provide IELTS mock tests?

All of our IELTS preparation courses come with a complete mock test at the end after which students receive detailed feedback on their performance and progress. Also the courses are full of IELTS practice activities.

 

Do you teach spoken English courses?

Yes we do. All our General English courses have speaking as the main focus with some lessons focusing on writing.

 

Do you teach written English courses?

Yes we do. All our General English courses have some focus on writing in different everyday situations. Our Professional Skills portfolio includes courses on more specific writing skills needed for the 21st century workplace.

  

Do you teach work related English?

Yes we do. Our courses for professionals cover the most important areas of workplace communication. The course materials are developed by UK professionals with input from management experts and delivered by trainers with extensive training experience and  exposure to corporate environments.

  

What handouts and materials do I receive?

All lessons come with printed worksheets that are couriered to you so that you can conveniently read on paper while interacting with the teacher and other participants on screen.
In addition you get online practice activities and resources on our website where you can upload your answers and receive feedback from our experienced teachers.
